BusinessVision has introduced their "BusinessVision CustomPack"
which comprises five powerful elements that enhance the use of

Customer Specific Pricing
The purpose of the Customer Specific Pricing Function is to record and
provide unique pricing for specific items for specific customers. This is
achieved by creating a relationship between inventory items and customers.
For example, prices can be copied from one customer to another, and end
dates (expiry dates) can be established, so that a specific price is
automatically removed from the customer specific price list.
The WorkBook
The WookBook can be configured to meet the needs of most businesses. It is
designed to record information that is beyond the scope of the standard
accounting system. For example, you may wish to record certain additional
information about your customers, such as alternate addresses, years in
business, membership dates, special contracts, etc. For inventory items,
you might want to keep long descriptions, alternate part numbers, and
vendor specifications. You my even create work orders associated with your
regular orders or track and retain special information about jobs, bills of
material, employees, etc. The combinations of ideas and uses are virtually
limitless.
Each WorkBook can have up to 50 fields; spread across up to 5 taps
(screens). Data items can include masked fields, text fields (memo's),
drop-down lists, checkboxes, dates, numbers, percentages and currency
fields. Each field type can have unique validation rules.
In addition to allowing for the creation of a WookBook, fields within
WorkBook can be used to enhance existing reports and forms, or you can
create entirely new ones. Report creation requires only Crystal Reports
software.
Special rules apply to WorkBooks in specific places. For example,
implementations of the Workbook in Order Entry and Purchase Order
processing automatically move the WorkBook details when an order becomes an
Invoice, or a purchase order is closed. This provides continuity of
information as it changes from current to historical.

MAIL MERGE
The Mail Merge function provides the ability to pass information from
BusinessVision to a Microsoft Word Document. Mail Merge can be performed
using data elements of the Customer file, Supplier File and Employee file.
An unlimited number of mail merge templates can be created and used.
DOCUMENT LINKING
The Document Linking function is designed to enhance the existing Notepad
functionality, by allowing not only standard text notes to be linked to
items in BusinessVision, but also Microsoft Word documents, Excel
spreadsheets, text files, images and virtually any other available document
type.
Document Linking also allows documents to be created directly from the
Document browse window, and can use existing templates created from the
BusinessVision Mail Merge function as the basis for a new document. A new
template may also be created as a document is being created and linked.
As an extension of the Notepad facility, the Document Linking option is
available in the following modules:

SUPER TICKER
The Supper Ticker provides access to management information through a
marquee, built into the BusinessVision desktop. Information displayed in
the marquee style window consists of text, followed by dynamically
refreshed data. As changes to your data occurs, this new information is
presented in the marquee via the tokens that you have previously
established. All settings and tokens are user specific.

e-BusinessVision allows your customers to access your products and place
orders anytime of the day by providing a sophisticated e-commerce
marketplace. E-BusinessVision allows your customers to help themselves by
providing them with detailed account information anytime of the day. Now

Having your own web-based web store also enables you to market your
products and take orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. By
directly integrating with BusinessVision 32, your internet marketplace

Multiple Currency
Fully-integrated with BusinessVision 32, the Multiple Currency Manager
provides the ability to enter, process and report on business and
accounting tasks in foreign currencies. Designed to automatically perform
foreign currency accounting and conversions to base currency - all in real
time! The unique AutoPost feature actually creates the required foreign
currency journal entries and General Ledger accounts automatically - no
manual set up of multiple foreign accounts required - simple process the
transaction and appropriate General Ledger accounts for the currency are
created on the fly.

Microsoft Office Integration
Streamline your entire business processes with the power of BusinessVision

Customer Relationship Management
BusinessVision 32 comes ready enabled to dynamically link to the popular
GoldMine, Maximizer, Act2000 and MS OutLook contact management systems. The
contact manager database is updated immediately, whenever changes are made
in BusinessVision, and vice versa.
Crystal Report Writer
Available from Seagate, the Crystal Report Writer enables you to enjoy a
wide range of reporting tools, including advanced web reporting, embedded
logos and graphics, multiple font and color support, and comprehensive
layout features. Or just use our office to design your necessary reports.
HAND-HELD COMPUTING
Thanks to a special "Order Import" feature your sales people can take
orders on the road using a hand-held computing device (Take on Order
Software is required).
Orders are downloaded from the hand-held device directly into
BusinessVision's Order file, while customer and inventory data is
simultaneously uploaded from BusinessVision back to the device.
STARSHIP INTEGRATION (US ONLY)
The Starship Shipping System links real time to BusinessVision 32's Order
Entry module.
TIME AND BILLING
The Timeslips Link provides a connection between Timeslips and
BusinessVision. The link gives the user the ability to update the
BusinessVision General Ledger and Accounts Receivable sub-ledger based on
transactions posted in Timeslips. Additionally, BusinessVision and
Timeslips can exchange customer information to keep the Timeslips Client
database synchronized with the BusinessVision Customer file.
Timeslips is a third party application that must be purchased separately
from Timeslips Inc. or Millennium POS Technologies can also assist with
the purchase of the software.
F9 FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE
F9 is a Financial Intelligence tool which works with over 40 accounting
systems.

BusinessVision 32. F9 integrates the data from the G/L into Excel, creating

Reports and Form Printing
BusinessVision 32's report and form printing capabilities differ
substantially from those in BusinessVision DELTA and BusinessVision 2000.
BV32 is configured for a number of pre-designed business forms (invoices,
statements, cheques, etc) for various printers (Laser, Inkjet, Dot Matrix).
It is possible that existing business forms may not align with these
default forms - this is particularly true of forms less than 11 inches in
length. In such case, if the user wishes to continue using NON-STANDARD FORMS,
you will need to create custom forms using the Crystal Report Writer version
7 or higher.
