Vigilant Utimate for Windows Point of Sales
has finally been released.
Vigilant Utimate for Windows will be a true 32 bit windows product,
you can effortlessly and smoothly link business processes, both internally and
externally, as well as delivering a breadth of controllable and secure management
solutions.
You will have the ability to customize VIGILANT screens, add new fields, define
user security and tailor reports to your client's specific needs and wishes.
Fonts, colors, sizes and toolbar can be individualized with ease. Even the your
company logo could be inserted should they so desire. You will also be able
to interface seamlessly with the Internet. And if that isn't enough, you will
have the distinct capability to write custom programs in Access, Excel, or virtually
any Windows tool able to interact with the business rules within Vigilant.

OTHER SOFTWARE CONCERNS REGARDING CONVERTING:
- Vigilant will have an upgrade from the current DOS-based version of its
product into the Vigilant for Windows as a part of the new release.
- What will be the cost of converting and upgrading my software?
Vigilant will provide a coupon towards the purchase of the Windows
version to all customers who have purchased the DOS version in the past.
The coupon will be a dollar for dollar value based on the current retail
selling price of our Point of Sale Accounting and Inventory Control and
Sales Order Accounting and Inventory Control. Purchase Order and Credit
Card Authorization interface will be provided free of charge with the
Point of Sale and Sales Order product. For customers who have purchased
and are currently using additional add-on products, the Window purchase
price will be credited dollar for dollar of the current selling price of
the equivalent DOS add-on products. A data conversion program will also
be provided free of charge.
To ensure the conversion to Windows will be smooth and trouble free,
Millennium POS Technologies requires that the customers have access to
customer support during the first year. As such, Vigilant requires the
purchase of a one-year software maintenance plan subscription. For those
who are currently taking advantage of Vigilant's Software Maintenance
Plan, a similar discount coupon will be made.
These offers will expire on December 31, 2002.
Once again, when the Windows version is released, will there be a DOS
version?
Many of our customers have expressed a desire to continue in the DOS
environment, due to their genuine appreciation for its reliable, stable and
efficient operating system. Others have not invested in updates to their
hardware. While operating quite effectively, it may not be capable of
handling Windows. To support these loyal customers, Vigilant will continue
both supporting and servicing its DOS PRODUCT.

EComm cyberLink is the evolution of data exchange. This automated solution
takes advantage of Commport's powerful translation engine, without having to
purchase traditionally expensive software. By using Commport as an
Application Service Provider (ASP), you are essentially outsourcing your
translation as a service while taking advantage of all benefits gained
through EDI and electronic communications. Some benefits associated with EDI
include, a reduction in the number of errors made through data entry
